“We had a great week in the warm cottage and the cozy Lee. It took a while to find it, but when we found the cottage, we fell in love immediately. What a lovely vibe! And Lee has also stolen from us. In Lee itself there is not much to do but day was just wonderful. Be sure to stop by the Grampus Inn (and especially if there is an open mic night, we unexpectedly had a great night).
We visited Ilfracombe a number of times (dining, fishing, supping, crabbing in the harbour, etc).
If you are looking for a small, cozy, warm and loving cottage in a beautiful environment... look no further.”

We loved the short walk to Lee Bay, having bbqs on the south facing terrace and watching the sunset from the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and had lovely soft sheets. Lots of big fluffy white towels and dressing gowns. The cottage was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Short walk to Lee bay, short drive to woolacombe and a big Tesco for extra supplies. Would love to come back!"

"Where to start! Myself and 3 girlfriends have just returned from a stay in the gorgeous Old Apple Store in Lee. The hosts, especially Helen for us, were fantastic from the outset - always quick to respond to all emails and queries. They provided all the information we could possibly need for the stay including even recommendations for a yoga teacher in the area and private dining caterers for a special meal one of the nights we stayed.

The place itself is so beautifully decorated, with every little detail really thought through and accounted for. Despite our visit during storm Alex (!), we made the most of the delightful hot tub and having the smart tv meant that we could have cosy nights in watching films and shows! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Devon in a great location near Ilfracombe!"

We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the BBQ, deck and hot tub as the weather was glorious but plan to visit again in the winter to make the most of the log burner and cosy inside spaces!
