Property cleaning & sanitation
The Old Apple Store is professionally cleaned prior to each booking and we have adapted our cleaning processes to ensure the most effective precautions are being taken for the protection of all parties.
All hard surfaces, touch points and soft furnishings will be cleaned using a multi-purpose disinfectant known to be effective against all enveloped viruses including Covid-19.
All linens, towels, robes and tea towels will continue to be professionally washed and dried on a high heat.
Our cleaning Company staff will be wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and will only complete the clean if they are fit and well, and not displaying any symptoms of Covid-19.
Pre-arrival & check in
As per our standard policy, we will be in touch two weeks prior to your arrival which includes the option of either a self check-in (via the keyless locking system) or a Meet and Greet. If you choose the latter, then we will of course adhere to the prevailing social distancing guidelines at all times.
During your stay
If, during your stay, you begin to show any symptoms of Covid-19, we ask that you to inform us straight away. For more information on symptoms, please visit the NHS website: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
Covid-19 Cancellation Policy
We understand that the effects of Covid-19 will continue to impact for some time and we do not want any of our guests to miss out on their stay as a consequence. Therefore, if you are unable to visit The Old Apple Store for any of the following reasons, we will endeavour to rearrange your booking:
You are displaying Covid-19 symptoms,
You have been informed that you need to self-isolate, or
Local travel restrictions prevent you from reaching us.
Requests to rearrange a booking due to Covid-19 will be considered on an individual basis and proof of the need to do so may be required.
We are constantly reviewing our Covid-19 Cancellation Policy in line with the latest Government /Public Health England guidelines, so please note that this Policy is subject to change.
